The service we offer – professional digital event photography – can enhance your functions by delighting your guests and providing them with a high-quality, lasting reminder of the occasion.
We cover a wide range of Black Tie events, including University Balls, Charity Events, Sporting Dinners, Presentation Evenings, Masonic Ladies Festivals, PTA Dinners, Corporate Functions, Reunions, Anniversaries, Conferences, Annual Balls, Theme Nights and Fancy Dress.
Black Tie Events
At Black Tie Balls we can set up a mobile studio, with backdrop, at the venue and take groups, couples and individual portraits. We can supply themed backdrops for themed nights, such as a "James Bond" night, and also provide some props to enhance the photographs. Photographs are viewed on a computer screen, purchased, printed and mounted; the customers take them home at the end of the evening or they can be posted. We use Mitsubishi Dye Sublimation Printers for near instant results. There is no obligation to buy. A few days later, the photos can be viewed in a secure area on our website and purchased, which can also be password protected for extra security. For large functions we can provide more photographers and staff. We can also take some roving photographs, and if required, small groups around the tables, time permitting.
We arrive at the venue one and a half hours before guests are due to arrive to set up. We need an area of at least 12 feet x 14 feet to set up the studio and sales table. We also need mains electrical power for our equipment. The photographs that we print on the night are 9x6 inches in size, and we sale these for £10. We can take cash or credit and debit card payments at the venue. We also offer organizers the option to include the cost of a photograph in the admission price with a discount available for this option. Other print sizes and photographic souvenirs, such as photo key rings and mouse mats, are available from our website where your event photographs are available for purchase, usually within 48 hours of the event, which provides convenient global access to images, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We treat each event individually, by it's location, type of event, numbers attending, for calculating the attendance fee. For themed nights we charge for the hire of a special background at cost.
Charity Events
To help with your fund raising we can pay you a commission with 10% of the profits available for your charity. We can also provide you with a raffle / auction prize of a family portrait sitting, including one 10x8 inch mounted print, together worth £75. To promote our service we can provide you with sample images and our logo to use on advertising material, or website use. This will help guests be aware that a photographer is attending, and photographs can be purchased at the venue, and we will be making a contribution to your charity. We can also provide the organizers with images taken at the venue for news releases and websites, at no extra charge.
Corporate Events
We work closely with our clients to plan your photographic coverage. We can take photos of pre-dinner drinks, trade stands, the key speakers, groups around the tables, award presentations and general roving shots to capture the atmosphere of the occasion. For large functions we can provide more photographers. We can cover Corporate Hospitality events such as team building days, with the option of on-site printing, for instant results. We can include your company logo on to the prints to personalize them, and for guests to remember you by. We also offer organizers the option to include the cost of a photograph in the admission price with a discount available on the print price if booked in advance. Our fee for corporate events can be for attendance and supplying proof quality images on CD for you to choose from, or include attendance and supplying images taken on CD. Guests can order their own prints or images direct from our website.
We have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Our equipment is electrical safety tested. Black Tie Portraits is owned by Robert Coyne LSWPP, who is a qualified member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
